2) Mass production of the same product requires a large amount of production. Most workplaces often repeat the processing of a part or a process at a certain pace. This small-scale machining production is called mass production. For example, specialized production such as bicycle manufacturing and some chain factories and bearing factories belongs to this type of production, which is characterized by large output of the same product and less change in working places, Repetition of processing (3) batch production: several different products are produced in batches in a year, each product has a certain quantity, and the processing objects at the workplace repeat periodically. This kind of production is called small-scale mechanical processing batch production. For example, the production of some general machinery factories, some agricultural machinery factories, ceramic machinery factories, paper machinery factories, tobacco machinery factories and so on belongs to this type of production. Its characteristics are: there are fewer types of products, and there are certain production quantities, plus The work object changes periodically and the machining process repeats periodically. The quantity of the same product (or part) put into production in each batch is called batch. According to the size of the batch, it can be divided into large batch production, medium batch production and small batch production. The process characteristics of small batch production are close to single piece production, and the process characteristics of large batch production are close to mass production
